Rhonda Galarza

Galarza, Rhonda L. of Beacon, entered into rest Saturday, October 18, 2014 in Fishkill, NY. She was 47. Born in Beacon on July 1, 1967 she was the daughter of the late Ronald Coleman and Elinor Frost Coleman. On June 27, 1987 she married the love of her life Luis Galarza in Fishkill, NY. As the leaves fall, we are reminded of Rhonda’s love of this season. She loved going up the mountain with her extended family. She loved animals, and nurtured the wounded. Neighbors would knock on her door knowing she could care for whatever injured animal they found. As strong as she was, she was also as delicate as her favorite flower, a daisy. Survivors include her husband, Luis Garlarza, two children, Jonathan and Steven Galarza of Beacon, a step-son Luis Galarza of Newburgh, her mother Elinor Coleman of Beacon, two sisters Nancy and Alice, as well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial visitation will be held Friday, October 24, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY. Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
