Richard Heady

Heady, Richard William Sr. entered into rest Sunday, April 19, 2015 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh. He was 75. Born March 19, 1940 in Peekskill, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Anna Gilleo Heady. Richard was a retired Fork Lift Operator for Tuck Tape, Beacon, he was a Truck Driver for Garrett Storms, Beacon. He was a member of St. Joachim’s Church, Beacon. Survivors include: four children, Stella Thomas of Beacon, Richard Heady Jr. of Hopewell Junction, Joseph Heady of Beacon and William Heady of Beacon, five brothers & sisters, Anna O’Dell of Beacon, Irene Mintz of Walden, Charles Heady of Beacon, Dolores Heady of Beacon, John Heady Sr. of Beacon, his former wife, Stella Heady, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 22, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 23, at 11:00 am at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, Interment will follow at St. Joachim’s Cemetery, Beacon, NY.
