Sally Boyd

Boyd, Sally M. of Wappingers Falls, formerly of Yonkers and Ossining entered into rest, Thursday, December 25, 2014, at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY. She was 72. Sally was born October 10, 1942 in Pinewood, SC., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Canzile Green Bosier. She was the widow of the late Matthew Boyd, who predeceased her May 14, 2012. She was a retired Taxi Cab Driver for Camps Taxi Service in Ossining, a self-employed Home Health Aid and a member of Fishkill Baptist Church, Fishkill. Survivors include; three children, Wanda A. Castelli of Wappingers Falls, Bryan Boyd of Yonkers & Jennifer Boyd of Poughkeepsie, five sisters, Thelma Wilson of Bronx, Viola Myers of Pinewood, SC., Canzile Brown of Summerton, SC, Gervine Bell of Pemberton, NJ and Dorothy Watson of Yonkers, three grandchildren, Denzel Boyd, Marcello Castelli and Stevon Boyd-Baum, she was Nana to Ivorey Wells and Brittni Cross, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY. Where at 4:00 pm memorial services will take place. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to her Fishkill Baptist Church family for all their spirituality, caring, and generosity over the years.
