Salvatore Caputo

Salvatore Caputo, 52, a longtime Wappinger/Fishkill resident, passed away on May 13, 2018 at his home. Born October 17, 1965 in Bisaoquino, Italy, son of the late Guiseppe & Maria (Ciulla) Caputo. Sal worked for the NYS Department of Transportation; he loved his job and the most especially the people he worked with, they were his extended family. He had a love for animals, his dog and his motorcycle. Salvatore is survived by his wife Evelyn Caputo; his son Damon Caputo & Salvatore Caputo Jr.. He is also survived by his brother, Jack Caputo; sisters, Felicia McKeon & Rosa Caston; and several nieces & nephews. A Memorial Service will be held privately, and interment at a later date. The family wishes for memorial donations to be made to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
