Samuel Ralph Manzoeillo Manzoeillo, Samuel R., of Cold Spring, formerly of Beacon, entered into rest Tuesday June 27, 2011 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, he was 88. Born October 31, 1922 in Newburgh, NY, he was the son of the late Ralph & Carmela Manzoeillo. He was the widower of the late Anna Lutz Manzoeillo who predeceased him on July 31, 2000. Samuel was a retired Produce Manager for Grand Union, Hopewell Jct. for over 50 years, he was a member of St. Joachim's Church, Beacon and a former member of Beacon Engine. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WWII and was in the Battle of the Bulge, he served in Germany and was awarded the Bronze Star. Survivors include his two sons Ralph S. Manzoeillo of Cold Spring and Thomas Manzoeillo of Raleigh NC, two brothers Vincent & Anthony Granieri, a sister Mary Manarelli, eight grandchildren; Krista, Melissa, Annette, Samantha, Eric, Marc, Christopher, Kalan & Jodi, seven great-grandchildren; Sophia, Olivia, Mark, Salvatore, Michael, Matthew & Gabriella, as well as many nieces & nephews. Graveside services will take place Thursday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joachim's Cemetery, Washington Ave., Beacon. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to your favorite Veteran's Organization.
