Sharmin Peddie

Sharmin Elizabeth Peddie, (52) passed away on November 22,2023 surrounded by her family.

Sharmin was born on Monday, November 23,1970 to parents Adeline Powell and Jerris Motta in Kingston Jamaica.  She attended St. Andrews High School before migrating to America, completing high school at Harry S. Truman High School. She later earned her associate degree at Berkely College.

Sharmin and Everald fell in love in 1995, the two later married in February 2000. Together they have 2 children Tyler Peddie and Tiffani Peddie.  Sharmin also had a step-son Jason Peddie whom she loved dearly.

Sharmin was a strong believer in treating everyone fairly, kindly and with respect. This was demonstrated in her profession as she worked as an Assistant Residence Manager, ensuring those under her care had a voice.  Sharmin may have had small frame, but she had the heart of a giant. She spoke softly and smiled loudly.  Sharmin enjoyed the simplest things and appreciated every kind gesture, never taking anything or anyone for granted.

Sharmin is survived by her husband, step-son, children, step grand-children, parents, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host friends.
