Steve (Istvan) Szabo

Szabo, Steve (Istvan), of Beacon entered into rest August 31, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie. He was 60 years old. Steve was born August 2, 1952 in Budapest, Hungary. He married Erica Gerencser on December 28, 1976 in Budapest. They moved to the United States in 1977 and later to Beacon, in 1988. Steve was a Prosthetics & Orthotics Technician for Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics, Kingston, NY. Mrs. Szabo survives at home. In addition to his wife he is survived by his two sons; Steve Szabo Jr. and his wife Amanda of New Paltz, and Billy Szabo and his wife Juliette of Wallkill; as well as a granddaughter Violet Szabo of New Paltz.
