Susan Ann Randall

Susan Ann Randall, a life-long Beacon resident, passed away on September 24, 2024 at the Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY; at the age of 65. She was born in Cold Spring, NY on November 1, 1958, daughter of the late Roy & Ruth (Van Herpe) Rasmus. She attended Beacon City Schools, and graduated from Beacon High School.

On November 15, 1981 at St. Joachim Church in Beacon, she married Rich E. Randall, who survives her at home.

Sue will be remembered for being a fun-loving person, who loved the company of her family & friends; she could always brighten a room. Susan was an avid football and baseball fan, she loved her NY Jets and her NY Mets. She also enjoyed cooking. 

Along with her husband Rich of 42-years, Sue is survived by her three children: Richard R. Randall and his husband Esteban Ramirez Alba, Rebecca Ruth Chanez and her husband Robert Joseph Chanez, and Mandy Marie Randall. Her 5 grandchildren, her sister Ellen Bogardus and her husband Royal Bogardus also survive her; with several nieces, nephews and neighbors that are like family, many friends.

Her Family will not be doing any services, although would like to greatly thank everyone that has reached out. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, New York. Interment will be private at the discretion and convenience of her family.
