McKinstry, Susanna E. entered into rest Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 74. Born September 2, 1939 in Beacon, she was the daughter of the late Alfred E. Sr. and Susanna Nichols Taylor. Susanna was a retired Examiner for Brandley’s Dye Works, Beacon. A member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Beacon. Susanna was the widow of the late John J. McKinstry who preceded her March 29, 2009. Survivors include: three sons, William B. Alexander Jr. of Middletown, Richard M. Alexander and his wife Ruth of Beacon, and Gary E. Alexander and his wife Dawn of Beacon, her brother Robert C. Taylor of Poughkeepsie, three sisters, Alberta Antonio and her husband Joseph of Beacon, Patricia Thorpe of Poughkeepsie, and Janet Dyson and her husband BOB of Beacon, 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by four sisters, Ruth Henzler, Catherine Baylash, Amelia Wilson, and Florence M. Taylor, and her brother Alfred E. Taylor Jr. A Memorial Visitation will be held Monday, September 16, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY Grave side services will be held Tuesday, September 17, at 11:00 am at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill. Father Edwin Cromey will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Jarett D.
