Pinckney, Thomas W., Montrose, NY. Thomas William Pinckney departed this life on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Montrose VA Medical Center, Montrose, NY. He was born to the late Andrew Morgan and Louise Thomas Pinckney in Georgetown, SC, on January 26, 1950. Thomas graduated from Howard High School in Georgetown, SC in 1968. He attended Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. Thomas is survived by seven sisters: Valdena Blye, Dorthula Drayton, Mary Rainey, Sylvia Pinckney, Azalee (Eli) Barber, Delma Pinckney, Frances (Thomas) Allen, two brothers: Andrew (Brenda) Pinckney Jr., and James Pinckney, aunt Mary Wright, and Uncle Frank (Annie) Thomas, a host of many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will take place Monday, March 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY Interment will follow in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
