Virginia Fiege

Fiege, Virginia, of Fishkill, NY formerly a long-time Beacon resident, entered into rest Monday, December 3, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 92. Born June 26, 1920 in Tarrytown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Aaron B. and Edna McCallister Wager. In September of 1939 she married Hilary Richard Fiege who predeceased her on August 2, 2003. Virginia was a self employed Seamstress, a member of St. Mary Mother Of The Church, Fishkill, a former member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Beacon, as well as a member of B. P. O. Elks Womens Auxiliary, Beacon. Survivors include: Five children Richard Fiege and his wife Joan of Florida, Hilary Fiege and his wife Rose of Wappingers Falls, John Fiege and his wife Corrine of Danbury, CT, Donald Fiege and his wife Ingrid of Red Hook, and Mary Laurelli and her husband Paul of Newburgh, and a daughter in law Sue Fiege of Beacon , NY. 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grand children, one niece, and one nephew. She was predeceased by a son Paul Fiege, a grandson Stephen Fiege, and a brother Aaron Wager. A Memorial Vistitation will be held Thursday, December 6, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY 12508 (845) 831-0179 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday December 7, at 10:15 am at St. Mary Mother Of The Church, Fishkill.
