Helen (Baltich) Killmer

Helen Ann Killmer, a longtime Beacon resident, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was 83 years old. Helen was born on October 13, 1935 in Cold Spring, NY and was the daughter of Nora and Mike Baltich. Helen married Robert David Killmer on October 13, 1956 in Cold Spring, NY and was happily married until his passing on April 26, 1975. Helen was a graduate of Haldane High School in Cold Spring, NY and later attended the Krissler Business School in Poughkeepsie, NY. She worked at IBM and later became a loving caregiver to many children throughout the years. Helen is survived by her five sons, Michael (Lisa) of Beacon; David (Maureen) of Henderson, Nevada; Robert (Jonell); Steven (ToniAnn) of Beacon; and Jeffrey of Newburgh, NY. She is also survived by her sister and best friend, Joan Serino; brother George Baltich (Jane); sister in law Shirley Baltich; brother in law Charles Killmer (Judy); sister in law Anne Adams (Bob); sister in law Judy Baltich; her beloved grandchildren: Michael Killmer (Maris); Craig Killmer (Arianna); Taylor, Sean (Jessica), Nicholas and Alyssa; her beloved great grandchildren: Kameryn, Bailei, and Carson, and many nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her husband Robert and her brothers Alex and Daniel Baltich. Helen had a beautiful heart and soul towards everyone she ever met. She was a loving person, and her family was the pride & joy of her life. She was committed to her family, and she will forever be missed and never forgotten. May Helen rest in peace with her family, friends, and the love of her life Robert. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 3-7 pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, February 2, followed by interment in St. Joachim Cemetery, Beacon.
