Jeanette Marie Johnson(Shorty) 58, entered eternal rest on Januay 5th, 2019 at Westchester Medical Center in New York after a hard fight with her illness. Jeanette was born on January 27, 1960 in Beacon, New York to Yvonne Johnson(Nevius). Jeanette attended Beacon City Schools before receiving her GED. Jeanette continued her schooling to obtain her Certification as a Nurse Assistant. Jeanette worked as a Nurse Assistant for New York State at Fishkill Correctional Facility. Jeanette loved doing creative decorating. Jeanette loved helping others when she could. Jeanette loved joking and making people laugh. Jeanette was a faithful member of Springfield Baptist Church, Rev. Ronald O. Perry Sr. Pastor. She was a member of the following ministries: Pastor’s Aide, Usher, Choir, Hospitality and Design and Decor. Jeanette attended the Community Bible Institute under the tutelage of Rev. Ella Medley, which in her 1st year she excelled. Jeanette is survived by her three daughters, Yvonne Johnson, Shadisha Johnson and Sharabia Campbell-Mckinney(Tyrone), her mother Yvonne Nevius, her father Harold Nevius, her sister Minister Veronica Eggleston, Sandra Mitchell(Sharif), Sonia Bellamy(Tarrence) and her brothers Harold Wade(Pamela) Dwayne Wade(Denise), her Grand daughters Naszhonique Johnson-Marshall, Myasia Lewis, Niara Johnson and A’Myarah Johnson, her Grandsons Jordan Campbell, Lord Born Campbell Jr, Sincere Campbell, Messiah Campbell and Jai’Von McKinney, her Great grand sons La’ Meir Thrasher and Mateo Miranda and host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Jeanette is predeceased by her son Lord Born Devine Johnson-Campbell and her maternal grandparents.
