John Anthony Constantino, Sr., a longtime Beacon resident, passed away June 13, 2022 at his home in Beacon; he was 67 years old. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 18, 1954, son of the late Anthony John & Julia Margaret (Savoia) Constantino. He was raised in Pearl River, NY; graduated from Pearl River High School, class of 1972.
John served in the United States Army from 1974 to 1975, and received an honorable discharge for his service.
On June 6, 1987 in Congers, NY, he married Carrie Jean Austin, who survives him at home. John was a member of the Knights of Columbus Trinity Council 445 of Beacon. He was an avid NY Yankees and Texas Longhorns fan; he enjoyed baseball. John was also a big history enthusiast.
Along with his wife of 35-years, John is survived by his 2 sons and daughter: John A. (Jennifer) Constantino Jr., Thomas (Siobhán) Constantino, and Julianne (Bradley Sr.) Constantino. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren: Anthony, Stella, Saoirse, Bradley Jr., Lilianna; his 2 sisters, Susan Olsen and Toni Frost, and can’t forget his beloved dog, Junior.
His Family will gather with Friends on Thursday, June 16th from 4-8pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a prayer service will be offered at 7:30pm along with military honors rendered by the United States Army Honor Guard.
