Scadura, Josephine Diane of Beacon, entered into the rest September 5, 2016 at Pleasant View Lodge under the care Harbor Light Hospice, Indianapolis, IN. She was 94. Born June 24, 1922 in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of Peter and Jenny Noto Gallo. Josephine was the former owner of Little Jo’s Corner Store, Beacon, a member of St, John the Evangelist Church, and Anthony Solidarity Society, Beacon. She was married to the late Michael Scadura, who predeceased her in October, 1998. Survivors include; her daughter Karen Easton and her husband Jim of Indianapolis, IN., her grand-daughter, Alissa Napier and her husband Jason of Indianapolis, IN., two great-grandchildren, Nicolas age 14 and Julie age 6 Napier, her sister-in-law Vera Scadura of Albany, as well as many nieces and nephews around the country. Along with her husband Michael she was predeceased by her brother Paul Gallo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 31 Willow St. Beacon. Entombment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Lights Hospice, Cedar Green Office Park 7164 Graham Road Suite 150 Indianapolis, IN 46250 or St. John the Evangelist Church 4 Oak St. Beacon, NY 12508.
