Mary (Davis) Bruno

Mary Magdalene Lawrence Bruno, our loving and dedicated mother, passed on November 16th, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Orleans, LA, daughter of Bernadette Toval Lawernce and Walter Davis. Mary grew up with five siblings, four sisters and one brother. She was predeceased by one sister and her older brother. She is survived by her three children, two daughters and one son. As well as her son in law and 1 daughter in law, 5 grandchildren , 2 step-Grandchildren, and most especially her 2 Fur-babies are left with loving memories of a beautiful Spirit and many wonderful times together. Mary worked at the VA Hospital in Westchester for over-25 years. She was a hard-working and dedicated. Mary was truly one to always think of others. When not working. She would make family time her priority. Family time was very important to her. Family staying connected is something she stressed. Mom looked forward to her trips to New Orleans, Louisiana to spend time with family. Mom loved our big Family Reunions, and all family get togethers. Always down for a good time. Mom loved all animals and her 2 Fur babies were known as her other children. Forever in our thoughts, Forever in our hearts. Your Children, Grandchildren, Sisters, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, Extended family and All that have known you. Till we meet again. The family would like to thank Nyack Hospital, all the nurses, doctors, and staff for the extraordinary care. In lieu of flowers we ask that all donations be made to The American Cancer Society. A private Goodbye was held at her request. Arrangements were entrusted to the professional care of the Libby Funeral & Cremation Services of Beacon.
