Mary Dwan

Dwan, Mary Jean, of Beacon, entered into rest Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. She was 83. Jean was born in Cold Spring, NY on August 17, 1933 to Morris and Mary Rapalje Cronin. She was a graduate of Haldane Central School and attended St. Vincent School of Nursing in NYC. She married Rody Dwan in March of 1953 at St. Mary’s Church in Cold Spring. He survives her at home. Jean Retired from Fishkill Correctional Facility after 25 years of service. Survivors include her two sons, Lawrence of Beacon and Michael of Anaheim, CA., beloved grandchildren, Michael and his wife Danielle of Greensburg, PA., and Cali of Anaheim, CA., great-granddaughter, Neala of Greensburg, PA., sister-in-law, Catherine Dwan of Beacon. She was predeceased by her son, Stephen on November 6, 2013. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Jarett D.
