Steven R. Robinson

Steven R. Robinson, a longtime Beacon resident passed away peacefully on October 5, 2022 at his home; he was 67 years old. He was born on September 3, 1955 in Melbourne, FL, son of Anny (Schoeters) Robinson and the late William James Robinson Jr.. Steven graduated from John Jay High School, then continued on to SUNY Oswego where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Science.

Steven worked as a technician at the IBM/Global Foundries in East Fishkill, NY; for 21 years until his recent retirement in March 2022.

Steven was an avid collector of various things, particularly Disney and Sci-Fi. He was a huge fan of Star Trek. He was a member of the Starfleet Command Quadrant One which is the oldest Star Trek Fan organization since 1974. Recently he was appointed the rank of Commander and Chief Science Officer aboard the USS Henry Hudson NCC 161 which was effective Stardate 2004.09, Earth Date: April 9, 2022.

Along with his beloved mother Anny Robinson, Steven is survived by his loving sister Leslie Robinson, also several friends from their church family and a niece Victoria LeMay. Along with his father, Steven was predeceased by his brother William “Jamie” Robinson, III.

His Family & Friends gathered to remember him on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue from 2 – 4 PM, where a service was offered at 3:00 PM.

His Family & Close Friends will gathered again to remember Steven and his Life on Friday, September 1, 2023 ( two-days before his 68th birthday ) at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, New York; where he was committal to a resting place, and a Butterfly Release was held.
